This June, GRAS participated in the Autism Speaks Canada Walk in Waterloo, Ontario. The GRAS Team was able to raise over $1200 to contribute to the ASC Walk!
The Waterloo fundraiser raised over $27,000 to help support the goals of ASC, including:
- Facilitating a catalyst for life-enhancing research and breakthroughs
- Increasing early childhood screening and timely interventions
- Improving individual’s transitions into adulthood
- Ensuring access to reliable information and services throughout an individual’s lifespan
- Helping increase the global understanding and acceptance of people with autism
GRAS was proud to support ASC’s goal to cultivate an inclusive community where individuals with autism are “embraced, celebrated, and recognized for their unique contributions,” along with the many families and organizations who worked together to make this year’s walk a success.
