What a day in this job looks like

All therapists undergo 2-weeks of training prior to starting with your own client caseload. We value the importance of consistency and understand the magnitude of competence – ensuring we build your caseload to reflect your comfort, skill and commitment.

  • Working 1:1 in client homes, daycares and/or community settings (all sessions are commonly 2-hours minimum but can increase to 2.5-3 hours in duration)
  • Taking accurate data collection for all programs and protocols during sessions
  • Providing parent training updates during sessions and modelling skills to parents (as needed)
  • Supporting in assessments with the clinical team and providing advice or feedback on client-success mapping
  • Communicating in client chats to keep your team up-to-date on relevant changes, updates and behavioural supports
  • Ongoing supervision by the clinical team (BCBA/RBA) during direct 1:1 sessions and indirect
  • Traveling between clients within the catchment area that you have designated
